Metallics
I've been pleasantly surprised to see the appearance of metallic envelopes this season. Here, the unexpected pairing of purple + white (we originally had planned for silver but the metallic mashup might have been too much for the postal service)

I once entertained fantasies of being a prop stylist. Here is an example of the ridiculous things I would do to pretend I might actually one day do this. Alas...:

Just getting ready to drop these in the mail. The paper was unlike any I've ever worked with. Very thick...absorptive, for lack of a better word. The green letterpress petals on the back remind me of the clover in my Philadelphia garden, which I miss a lot when in New York.

Placecards
I just finished the place cards and table numbers for a dear friend's wedding that is happening this weekend. I can't wait to celebrate with so many people that I absolutely adore. And there will be barbecue and dancing!
